Godin is author of Permission Marketing. Promo Magazine called Seth "The Prime Minister of Permission Marketing," and in June Fortune chose the book as one of their Best Business Books. Permission Marketing was an Amazon.com top 100 bestseller for a year, and it spent four months on the Business Week bestseller list.

Godin’s latest book is Unleashing the Ideavirus. More than 100,000 people received the digital version of the book during its first week of Internet publication. Featured in USA Today, The New York Times, The Industry Standard and Wired Online, this book broke new ground in the way ideas are distributed. It is now available in bookstores nationwide.

As a Vice President at Yahoo!, he helped integrate direct marketing, permission marketing and Internet promotions into the company’s Fusion Marketing Online program for its clients worldwide. In January 2000, Godin left to pursue personal interests and continues as an external advisor, consultant and friend to Yahoo!.
