G. Bennett Stewart III, the senior partner of the firm, also was part of the Chase Financial Policy team before the formation of Stern Stewart. He is the author of The Quest for Value, the definitive text on Stern Stewart's proprietary Economic Value Added (EVA®) framework. He holds an MBA in finance and economics from the University of Chicago and a BS in electrical engineering from Princeton University.
