Great book for first time managers
This book is excellent for first time managers. It really help with the transition from worker to supervisor.

A good book
This is a good, easy read. The author does a nice job of explaining some concepts and terminololgy that is business specific. Those of us who do not have a business degree appreciate this.

A must for any manager...
This is a great book. I've learned alot as a first time manager. I've also loaned it out to a friend who was working on a "culture in the workplace" project. She loved it too. Whether you are new to management or have been in the seat for a while, you should read it. Hope you enjoy it!

Bec oming a Successful Manager
The book was helpful and gave me some good ideas for managing and also for what managers expect from me.

Very Touchy-Feely, Love Thy Neighbor
I am a new manager in a very large company. I purchased this book and another to help me learn how to deal with people, especially the ones with whom I used to work that now work for me. The book reads like a self-help book for a 10 year old with review questions at the end of each chapter. Also, it is very touchy-feely. The author wants you to treat your subordinates like your very best friends. I found some good pointers from the book, though not very many.
