Helpful marketing tips from a pro I've read a lot of Jeff's books and have always been able to come away with something useful from them. This one is no different. Helpful, practical advice from a master.
Sales and Marketing Principles This book details 57 sales and marketing principles. It is highly readable and each principle is covered succinctly, many with examples, stories and diagrams for explanation.
Most of the principles were common sense, some were new and interesting.
It's greatest benefit is that it acts like a checklist of what sales and marketing strategies to use. In essence, it is an idea generator... though I did also really enjoy the stories/parables.
Simple but fun. Practical... not earth-shattering.
This book Stunk What a waste of paper. I kept hoping there would be some bits of wisdom I could use. None inside. All basic common sense stuff. Do not waste your time on this book. His other book, How to become a Ranmaker was actually pretty good. What the hell was he doing writing this 172 pages of all filler? I dont' get it.
Just can't recommend this book As I read this book, I kept trying to figure out who Jeffrey Fox was, because I could not believe how simplistic the book was written, and how the book had nothing to offer. I did visit his website, and his experience and expertise in marketing is impressive. His writing style, and content is less than impressive. I just can't recommend this book. Not a whole lot of meat here. There are better basic marketing books on the shelves that will serve you better.
Fox does it again! I've been a Fox Fan for years and this book is another fine example why. In it, Jeff delivers his usual quality stuff. You'll find chapter after chapter of useful tips, thoughtful advice and no-nonsense rules. Jeff doesn't pull any punches and I'm glad. He's a refreshingly direct and practical voice for how to attract more customers. He shares some of his best stuff, learned from years of experience. This book is classic Fox and it's worth the read.
