Get Ready To Exercise Your Mind The Instant Millionaire: A Tale of Wisdom and Wealth
I truely enjoyed reading this book. It is a wealth of knowledge. It is a reality check to your own life & situation if you are constantly seeking opportunity & never seem to focus on any one venture you've invested into.
This is one of the books in my collection that I highly recommend. It holds the true key to success, and a powerfully inspiring message.
Instrumental to my success www.liber8yourlife.com I read this book and fell in love with it- so i read it again. So simple and yet so powerful. Similar to the principles applied in my business and personal life with phenomenal results. Choosing to read the book was a simple choice, adopting the 'Millionaire Mindset' was one that also came easily, but required integrity and dedication. this is a great book, easy to understand, a 'must have' for anyone who is serious about changing their everyday to extraordinary in every way!!
Oriental Style This is a book written in the "Oriental" style, used by Hermann Hesse (The Glass Bead Game),Theodore Dreiser (The Stoic), etc: When the pupil is ready the teacher will come. I like this style of writing, it is very absorbing and enchanting.
Although the outer style is exactly what I like, the underlying concept of how to become a millionaire is not well developed. The book is mostly devoted to the proper mindset, but the author overlooks other important imperatives. The proper mindset is better covered in "The Millionaire Mind" by Thomas J. Stanley.
Also, Mark Fisher the importance of assets in wealth generation did not deserve the proper attention in this book. The issue of assets versus liabilities is very well covered by Robert Kiyosaki. The best work to eliminate the liablilites is John Cummuta's "Transforming Debt into Wealth", which I also highly recommend in addition to this book.
I only put four stars because of the "Oriental", tale-like style, which is amusing. Otherwise, I would have put three stars, because the underlying concept needs development.
More about attitude and mindset than any real techniques. I listened to the audio cassettes in 1995 while driving across the everglades. I was in my early 30's and struggling. Without being too dramatic I will tell you it did change my life. More specifically it changed my relationship with money and how I thought about money. There is one particular piece of the story where a man applying for a job is almost rejected because he is asking too low a salary. The inability to negotiate and the low salary expectation casts doubt on the business owner. More to this in the story...
If you are looking for specific methods and formulas for earning wealth this is probably not a good resource.
I would say this is a good resource for someone of any age who is trying to break out from the "money is scare" / penny pinching approach to life.
Good luck
It teachs wrong ideas!! It takes more than the desire and imaginary numbers to be rich. Skills are also needed to be successful. I have seen many who are successful with the desires and skills. Also, I have seen many who are failed with the desires and imaginary numbers but without skills. The book told readers that "Be still, and knew that I am God" as a secret of happiness. It is not a secret of happiness, it is a recipe to be a mad man.
