 best finance book!!
This was my first finance book to read, at age 25. It is SUCH an easy read! Bach gives you advice, along with websites and phone numbers. Pointing me in the right direction to actually reach my goals was the most valuable tool I've seen! I recommend it to all ages, especially those that are young and are willing to plan for the future.
Grandkids financial education
I first read this book at the library. Then I bought six of them and sent one to each of my grandchildren.
Worth the read
This book is definitely worth reading. I would probably give it 5 stars but he bashes using a budget and says how they don't work then he shows you how to set up an automatic system to make your money behave - isn't that what a budget is? I guess he is splitting hairs on the budget issue, I personally believe a budget is critical for financial success. Mr. Bach just presents a more automated way to live on a budget and end up with the wealth we all long for. Definitely worth reading and gleaning the useful information that will work for you. Just remember you actually have to use the information he gives if you want it to work. Happy reading.
Great, Simple, and Practical
This book is quite simple, and easy to implement. Its not a flash get rich quick scheme or a "you don't have to do anything" plan, although the title may imply that. Its just a practical approach to investing automatically and every month, or twice a month. Keeping diversified and all turns out well!
Automatic Millionaire - A simple plan to long term financial success
In David's book, he gives you a plan that if you follow and automate it will lead you to almost certain financial security in your life. Something as simple as maximizing your 401(k) contributions to the maximum allowed by the government can lead to an excellent retirement income and reduced your taxable income on a yearly basis. The key is to pay yourself first and make sure that you are preparing yourself for your retirement and a rainy day. I would recommend the book to anybody that is looking a simple, straightforward financial plan for their lives.
