Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People

Brief description of Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People

No matter how many people you supervise, there’s only one person you can change: yourself. So your best investment is self-improvement, by developing the habits that will make you a better person and manager. If you want to change a situation, you have to change your behavior. But to change your behavior, you have to alter your paradigms—the way you interpret the world. Covey’s “Seven Habits” tells you how to adopt new habits that will help you avoid inertia and achieve your goals. The first three habits deal with self-control and are oriented towards personality growth and becoming independent. The next three concern relationships with others—team work, co-operation and communication—and are geared towards inter-dependence. And the seventh refers to the need for continuous renewal in order to understand the other six habits better.
