Peak Success Coaching from Tony Robbins in Concise Form
This is a quick read and highly recommended for those unfamiliar with Anthony Robbins peak success coaching books and tapes. If you like this then I recommend that you follow up with some of his indepth DVDs, CDs, etc. Tony is genuine and you can hear it in the way he speaks to you. He has been there and done it from his own personal experience. Tony taps into other successful people's methods and brings to the forefront their successes in a cohesive manner. If you have the ability to analyze data and apply it to your own life, then Tony will teach the best methods from top experts in many fields that will help you become your personal best. I've read others works and Tony Robbins simply puts it all together in an unpretentious manner, with the goal of helping you become a better persona and encouraging you to pass on the secrets that you'v learned to help others. You don't have to reinvent the wheel, get all you need in one place, take action, what the results...no brainwashing involved as some people might lead you to believe. Read it and judge for yourself.

Very useful and to the point!
In my opinion I think this is one of Tony's most useful books. This little book is a great help to change your life. It only has a small amount of the material from his other books but it is useful to read here and there - and then think about what you have read - this is because it has a more condensed version of Tony's methods, don't let the Title turn you off, it's not a flowery book, but full of to the point methods to change. Robbin's powerful stories illustrate each point very well, and this book contains a lot of great information not in his tapes - and it's also great that Tony is able to explain it all in such a clear and very entertaining manner. This is the second copy of this book I have purchased - I gave away the first and it made such a difference in that person's life that I did not want to ask for it back. Use the many exercises in the book - they can really change & improve your life if you commit to doing them. This book is as relevant and useable today as it was in the 90's. You won't regret the money you spend on it. There are so many times when I want to relax with a novel - yet at the same time I don't want the typical negative influences of modern thrillers or serial killers etc to influence my mind on my path to success and positive growth. What to read? Well I was lucky to have Horatio Alger's books recommended to me by someone who found them here on Amazon (thanks Amazon) - Alger was the Tony Robbins of his time - only he wrote `rags to riches' novels - usually about very broke - poor - folks on the street, turning around their lives and becoming very successful - now, they are not just as simple as that - the two things that make them useful are the mental methods explain and the practical methods explained on how the change was achieved. Both of the two methods taught are just as useful today as they were when written. Re-discover Tony's 15 year old book, and discover Alger's 100 year old books! They are all great to turn around your life! Here are a few to consider: Young Captain Jack: The Son of a Soldier The Young Bank Messenger: A Classic Rags to Riches Story! Slow and Sure: The Story of Paul Hoffman the Young Street-Merchant Randy of the River: The Adventures of a Young Deckhand Phil the Fiddler: A Classic Rags to Riches Story! Paul the Peddler: The Fortunes of a Young Street Merchant Paul Prescott's Charge: A Classic Rags to Riches Story!

Power-Packed and to the Point
I have read most of Anthony Robbin's books, and enjoyed each one. I particularly like this book because it is brief and to the point. Although it is a short book in comparison to his other work, it has clearly outlined the credo's that have made him successful, and are life changing if we apply them to our own lives. The most important point is the tenet, "There are no mistakes, only feedback." If we could remember this when we are angry with ourselves for 'doing the same thing and expecting different results', we can see the value and the purpose for our so-called mistakes. Good book, and a good gift!

I love this little book!
It's so easy to read and is a wonderful gift for yourself and everyone you know! Enlightening. I read it over and over. You learn so much about Tony Robbins and you'll never forget what makes him so dynamic. I've never been to one of his seminars or bought any of his other products.. Just this little book. You just fall in love with his spirit. And this is all you will need.

Simply powerful!
In a straight-forward approach with his contagious enthusiasm and lots of real life examples, Anthony Robbins's "Notes from a Friend: A Quick and Simple Guide to Taking Control of Your Life" shows his readers that we can change our life literally in a matter of moments, by tapping into the power that's inside each of us right now. What if "unleash the power within us" is what we need to be successful? It sounds too simple, but many of us including myself, have no idea how powerful we truly are. This book effectively showed us that we can shape our destiny by shifting focus on solutions, instead of problems. Having a clear vision of what we want, with a sense of flexibility in pursuing our goals, and continuing to take massive, positive, constructive actions, we can empower and enrich our lives and others' lives around us in all aspects! A concept from this book particularly caught my eyes; "the past doesn't matter. Whatever hasn't worked in the past has nothing to do with what you'll do today. What you do right now is what will shape your destiny." It reminded me of my favorite authors; Ariel and Shya Kane and their books Being Here: Modern Day Tales of Enlightenment and Working on Yourself Doesn't Work: A Book About Instantaneous Transformation. The Kanes presented the idea of "Living in the moments", showing "the current moment is all we have and living in the moment is all it takes to have our life transformed." It is so freeing to be able to let go of all the "I should have done this" and know that what happened in the past is irrelevant to now and now is all we have! We have absolutely everything we need right now to create our lives. These three authors are magical. I highly recommend them to anyone that wants to have a magical life and to discover his and her brilliance!
